Joseph "Joe" Angus MacQuarrie
<p class="MsoNormal">Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 after a short illness and surrounded by his family, Joseph “Joe” Angus MacQuarrie, at the age of 90 years.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Left with loving memories are: his wife of 68 years Hilda; son Jerry (Bev); daughters: Glenda (Eric) McFatridge and Cathy (Aaron) Madore; grandchildren: Ian, Scott, Peter, Kyle, Joey, Noah, Jenna, and Kailee; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and 5 sisters; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Joe was predeceased by: parents Mary and Joseph; brother John; and grandson Jeremy.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">A visitation will take place on Monday, August 8th from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville. The family requests that those visiting please wear a mask. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 9th at 10:00 AM from St. Stephen’s Parish. Interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">The family would like to thank the physicians and staff of the ER- STRH, 4A WMRH, and the palliative care unit at the Western Long Term Care Center.
